Rivers with large flow rate deferred

the Norwegian Meteorological institute has also sent out a CAUTION-notice for the county of Hordaland, Rogaland and Sogn and Fjordane.

the Norwegian water resources and energy directorate (NVE) has, for the county of Hordaland, Rogaland and Sogn and Fjordane upgraded soil and flomskredfaren to the yellow level.

For the counties of Møre and Romsdal, Sogn and Fjordane, Hordaland and Rogaland, the NVE has upgraded the alert about the flooding to the same level.

the Yellow level for landslides means that it is expected any avalanches, and that some large events may occur. Steep slopes, as well as streams and elveløp with great water flow are especially susceptible. Yellow level for the flood means that there is a risk of local flooding due to rapidly increasing water flow in streams/småelver.
